PCBA Specialties
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT): Components are mounted directly onto the surface of the printed circuit board using automated pick-and-place machines and reflow soldering.
- Through-Hole Technology: Components are inserted into holes on the printed circuit board and soldered in place using wave soldering or manual soldering.
- Mixed Technology: A combination of SMT and through-hole technology is used to mount components on the printed circuit board.
- Single-Sided PCB Assembly: Components are mounted on one side of the printed circuit board.
- Double-Sided PCB Assembly: Components are mounted on both sides of the printed circuit board.
- Multi-Layer PCB Assembly (1-32 layers): Multiple layers of printed circuit boards are stacked and interconnected with vias to accommodate more complex circuit designs.
- Rigid-Flex PCB Assembly: A combination of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards are interconnected to allow for complex shapes and configurations.
- Ball Grid Array (BGA) Assembly: Components with BGA packages are mounted on the printed circuit board using specialized equipment and techniques.
